Education Approach
Through problem solving, play, creative and sensory activities your child will be stimulated and educated in an exciting way that will develop a love of learning. Each child will be valued for their uniqueness and own style of learning. Our Grade 00 children participate in a school readiness programme that ensures they are well prepared for "Big School".
Our Grade R Curriculum is CAPS aligned and includes a weekly music lesson with a trained music teacher, a PE lesson with Action Ball and a computer class.
Below are just some of the activities that are incorporated into our general pre-school curriculum.
Fine Motor Activities:
Drawing, threading, pegging, painting and cutting
Gross Motor Activities:
Balancing, climbing, trampoline, bikes and dancing
Cognitive Activities:
Puzzles, circle time, reading time and problem-solving games
Spritual Growth:
Bible stories and activities, worship songs and prayer time.
